I see jokes, I see daily life drama, man problems, work problems
but under this headline I see nothing.
In the Gulf Coast of New Orleans this has become normal.
53 dead this year alone.
And yet whose being held accountable still remains a mystery
even though the criminals are well known.
Growing up you never imagine that all the animals in your story books,
in your local zoo or
all the animals whose sounds you imitated will soon be nomore.
Its repulsive to phathom that my generation has played a part in the
genocide of all the animals whom very shortly will become a memory.
Our grandchildren will be forced to imagine what we've taken for granted.
While we chase frugal thrills,
selfishly endulge in monetary gain,
and ignore the condition our world is in.
We've forgotten to nourish our ground,
replenish our crops, properly raise our offspring,
and at this very moment will probably pass on the ability to feed our minds with relevent information,
because it's Thursday and your favorite reality show is playing so who cares if Global warming is forcing polar bears to become canibals or that 53 dolphins died in one year.
Or that we barely have fish in the sea.
Who cares that Silver back Gorillas and intelligent Chimps, lions, bears,
and tiger will soon no longer exist?
Five more dead sounds like nothing to many but imagine
what it means when were down too a few hundred in the entire inhabited earth?
While your sitting on facebook or any social network posting pictures of how hot the club was,
think about how many children are still dying of hunger.
How many natural disasters are threatening our childrens future and ask yourself
how relevent mtv is or how ridiculous it is to post all your business up, and continue to ignore the dangers still yet to come?
Imagine if you would, what the world will look like if everything beautiful no longer existed..
THEN ASK YOURSELF WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH YOUR LIFE THATS SUBSTANTIAL ENOUGH TO MAKE YOUR LIFE WORTH WHILE. BE REMEMBERED FOR SOMETHING GREAT, IGNORANCE ALLOWS YOU TO SIMPLY BE FORGOTTEN!

ReplyDeleteTHIS IS ONE OF THE SINGLE BEST INTERPRETATIONS OF WHAT'S GOING ON IN SOCIETY...IM SO GLAD TO SEE SOMEONE TRYING TO SHED LIGHT ON WHY THESE CRIMINALS ARE ALLOWED TO NOT JUST GET AWAY WITH WHAT THEY DO BUT CONTINUE TO DO THESE HORRIFIC ACTS. FOR ONE PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ANYONE YOU SPEAK WITH SHOULD KNOW THAT THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME AND IT MOST DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE THE LAST TIME. THIS TYPE OF TRAGEDY HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED TIME AND TIME AGAIN. IM NOT SURE WHAT ONE OR TWO OF US CAN DO BUT HOPEFULLY TWO WILL TURN TO TEN..TEN TO TWENTY AND SO..AND THAT'S WHERE THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE SEEN. SO I ENCOURAGE YOU TO CONTINUE WRITING ABOUT THIS TRAGEDY AND DONT FORGET PEOPLE..WHILE WE'RE DAMNING MOTHER NATURE FOR ALL THESE STORMS AND TSUNAMI'S...ASK YOUSELF THIS...WHY IS IT HAPENING...INSTEAD OF LETTING EVERYONE TELL US THE EARTH IS COMING TO IT'S END...THUNK OF HOW POWERFUL THE ALL KNOWING MOTHER NATURE IS AND THAT SHE JUST MIGHT BE HELPING US..THE ONLY WAY TO GET NEW FISH INTO THE OCEANS SND SEAS WE NEED FRESH WATER...LEARN TO THANK WHOEVER IT IS YOU FEEL HUMAN-KIND OWES IT TO FOR BEING HERE ON EARTH INSTEAD OF DAMNING THEM...HOPEFULLY I'VE SAID SOMETHING THAT STICKS AND THE CHAIN HAS STARTED LINKING.
