FRIEND OR FOE
OR SECRETLY BOTH

When all is well we have more friends than we can count, but it is only when times are the hardest that our number of friends is truly relevant. Those that hold you down at your worst are the only ones worthy to be called friends when your at your best. A friend doesn't come with motive, there is no let me hold you down so that one day you can return the favor, all there is, is loyalty and concern about your needs because expectation is motive, be it as silent as it may motive is the creation for a foe. NHM
A so called friend once said to me, trust me your my family I got you, I believed that because I paid little attention to detail then. This person was with me every day for months, we did everything together. I never noticed jealousy, envy or hatred, all I noticed was that we was out there bugging, drinking and having a blast. That all changed real quick followed by a series of events that changed me forever. It made me grow up and see people for there true selves. It made me pay attention!
I tell all my closest friends now, no you can not trust me 100 percent because I'm imperfect and I will make mistakes, one day unintentionally I will hurt you but what makes me your true friend is that I would never be anything less than real from the gate. I won't look you in the eye and tell you I am without flaw, because one lie is the mask for a hundred secrets and that is never without consequence.
Many people will be right there in the spot light with you, but do yourself the favor, turn the light off for a few minutes, then back on. Whose still there finding a way to put the light back on you, and who leaves onto a new pasture to graze. Its crucial to have a team around you that has no motive that loves you beyond how you look, what you make or how popular you are! Those that never ask or expect, those that don't care what you have, and will still offer you help or a meal, those are friends! True friends don't need one reason to ride with you because love motivates them to ride just because being with or around you is great.
Real friends can't be turned into foes it just isn't in there makeup. A real friend is never the driver of the bus your under, a real friend don't give away your secrets, or listen to people bad mouth you, whose more guilty the person who slanders you or the person who claims to love you and cosigns the slander by association? A haters job description is to hate everything without reason but a loved one should be incapable of hating you for any reason.
Look around you, most people use the word friend like it's nothing, I'm your friend, I'm your friend yeah well where were you when my chips was down, and I didn't have a dollar to eat? Where were you when I was broken, I called out for you but you went death. Now you hear me because I'm back up NO THANK YOU!
People can be so covert you don't catch the signs, they have ways to make you believe they are loyal, but something will always happen to expose truth, NEVER ignore truth! I realized people look for me now more than they ever did, I get more text on my phone than a hotline, everybody wants to know where I'm at, who Im with, what business venture Im on. Don't let me get started on how many people become business oriented and want a backing, lord I have heard some ridiculous things.
I say all this to say, truly peer into those around you, don't be scared to be alone because It is much better to be alone and whole then to be surrounded by fake friends that are secret foes chipping away at you until theres nothing left!
You are worthy of honest loyal friends, losing one fake one is so much easier then dining in a snake pit with a bunch of them!
BE SAFE KNOW YOUR CIRCLE AND PAY CLOSE ATTENTION A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING IS NOT BAD IF YOU UNDERSTAND AND KNOW THE WOLF, IT BECOMES TRAGIC WHEN THE WOLF ISNT KNOWN BUT ATTACKS WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT THEN THE WOLF IS AT A PERFECT VANTAGE POINT WITH THE CAPACITY TO DESTROY AND DEVOUR YOU!
