To Trust or not to trust? NHM

TO TRUST OR NOT TO TRUST BY: NHM

reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.

By definition TRUST equates to full reliance, Is that possible when most don't comprehend the concept? Most go though life blinded or kept captive by their own redundancy. Many love blind, and trust what is heard rather than what is seen. From my experience and opinion it takes a whole lot more to trust than anything else! You go through life with false pretense, false and incomplete promises, failure to comply with words spoken and avoidance or acceptability of what is, rather than what is assumed. Trusting someone is a huge honor, it speaks volumes of the assumed character of the trusted. That is why broken trust is the demise of the once assumed character, making it nearly impossible to heal after the trust is broken. It's not like a bone you cast and in a few months it's good as new. With broken trust mending is possible but the bonding never quite comes together like it use too. The imperfect crevice is very visible. 

Everyone becomes a suspect and many hearts are broken because a bruised or broken trust carries itself on from relation to relation. Memories can pop up in situations that don't pertain and yet make full sense to he or she in protection mode. It's important to guard yourself but be careful not to stumble yourself. Something once broken can only remain broken with no effort to repair, and someone refusing to trust is refusing to be repaired. 

Some situations can come up in life where no matter what you've been through previously, the past has to be completely ignored, full reliance is crucial, and yet so rewarding when allowed to manifest. Some blessings are answered and not seen or ignored, many even taken for granted and not appreciated, with that attitude comes a very large consequence, to be hurt in trust mode is horrible but how much more horrible are you if you betray trust because it was once your burden, now you've injured another as you once were and the benefits if any are so minuscule the guilt alone supersedes the profit by uncountable measures! 

To give your trust and be trusted has more value than anything because it is your fingerprint in all relations. If your word has no value what kind of life will you live? It's like having bad credit, no matter how good of a person you are without it you are presumed irresponsible, unreliable and not worthy, how much more so would you defame your own character, the one thing you carry all the days of your life! To misuse or betray anyone is a choice, to recover is also a choice. 

Today I choose to recover! It is crucial to me to to see people for what they are and not for what is assumed because I was betrayed before. I choose to remove the chains of bitterness and lack of forgiveness because honestly It's no longer my burden to carry, if you choose to hurt a good person, or misappropriate your position to benefit without the thought to give back, the loss when it occurs is yours for life! You can't pass on the stigma, you can't avoid being questioned and worst of all knowing your own track record and resume will prevent you from trusting even yourself. I say all this to say that trust is an amazing gift, given or received it is by far the beginning or the prerequisite for all other great emotions such as loyalty and Love! Do not ever misuse your gift of being trusted! Be original, set yourself apart from a world of snakes and scorpions! Be that one person everyone knows for being trustworthy that in itself makes you shine above the entire world, and is why I live everyday by a certain standard! I mean what I say, I do what i promise and I never allow myself to fall short of my words or my promises. I am human filled with life, not a shell empty of any substance!

BE TRUSTWORTHY ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE, IT'S SIMILAR TO HAVING THE BEST CREDIT, NOW EVERYBODY IS OFFERING YOU EVERYTHING BECAUSE YOU ARE QUALIFIED, APPROVED RESPONSIBLE AND WORTHY! TODAY I AM TRUSTING AND MY HEART IS OVERFLOWING WITH JOY!
