Donell Jones Broke into the music scene and into the worlds heart in the mid 1990's I believe! They say his most notable hits are his cover for Stevie Wonders Knocks me off my feet, You know whats up which featured the late Lisa Left eye Lopez and of course, Where I wanna Be. Those were all great but did we forget Shorty Got her eyes On me, This love, Better Start Talkin, Forever, Love like this, just to name a few!?

Music has changed so much since the 1990's, it use to be that music made you want a love so profound, You wanted to build empires with your companion. Men use to apologize in ballad form and dedicate you songs that walked you down the aisle. In todays society we no longer revere amazing talent most people get stuck in what I call commercialgeddon! Yup I just said that and made that word up!

What that means is that music isn't beautiful anymore its more so about pleasing an audience that doesn't care about the beauty because they've yet to be introduced to it.

Music is now all about catchy tunes, enhancement programs, twerkin, shorty got a body, let's get obliterated, oh and of course everybody is rich! Don't me started on the features like whose the artist?

Me personally I miss substance. I don't want to become numb to beauty.

I find myself vibing all the time to old school classics, or I'm stuck in the 90's.

When we had Donell Jones, who explained to us in a beautiful way how to tell our partners this is where I wanna be but….

He taught us how to break up with swag and how to flirt without being thirsty!

Of course he had the ladies swooning with that amazing smile but his looks although very appealing were the introduction, not the entire package. Actual talent is missing today!

Back then you seldom had a one hit wonder because these artist had to earn there stripes before they got airtime now all you need is a large following via social media and a niche or gimmick.

I don't even listen to the radio like that because, what really am I going to hear?

I want a ballad to be a ballad, I want a baby, I'm so sorry song that makes me cry my eyes out.

If I'm going to dance please dear God don't let it be to something that Degrades anyone! Or something That requires a shower after!

I write all these blogs/ thank you letters about the artist that I respect and love because a thank you is necessary!

Thank you for the beautiful music you've given us and know that there are millions of people like me who believe that you never go out of style when you are amazing!

Don't stop singing! Sing forever because people with actual substance, integrity and a ear for musical genius still exist and are waiting!

Donell, Mr. Jones Thank you for the talent you shared, the music you created that got me through horrible relationships, the music that made me dance in the rain, the confidence to expect the most from men and the songs I must keep replaying to keep reminding myself of what it should be like, to love, to be happy and to dance! You inspire my passion, and it is with complete admiration and homage that I gracefully ask please sing until people remember what a song is supposed to sound like!

REMIND THE WORLD THAT TRUE TALENT IS BEAUTY AND BEAUTY IS GIFTED BY REAL TALENT! YOU ARE ONE OF MANY KINGS. THEY SAY IT TAKES A COMMUNITY TO RAISE A CHILD MAYBE IT TAKES AN OLDER KING TO TRAIN THESE YOUNGER POTENTIAL KINGS! MAYBE THE MORE BLOGS I WRITE ABOUT REAL MUSIC ONE DAY I WILL INSPIRE REAL MUSIC TO MAKE A COMEBACK!
