I have been a Tamar Braxton fan since my ears were privileged to hear "If you don't want to love me"in 2000 given to me by a street team for dreamworks.
I might have played that song a million times. I knew instantly that she was everything!
When Love and War was released in 2013 I preordered and waited, not one single regret!
Stay and fight is probably one of the realist songs I've ever heard because it speaks of the battle within a woman's heart!
Love and War the first single could be labeled the story of many woman's lives! All the way home is one of my favorite songs of all time for so many reasons, and then there is Pieces, this song alone should have won every award known to musicians! The entire album made me feel strong and beautiful! Empowered to the maximum! Cover to cover one of the greatest in my collection.
I have always been a person to look at all the amazing unique qualities of an individual before I decide what my opinion is of them!
Tamar's strength ambition and tenacity show a love for an art that by no stretch is easy to master! The personality behind the artist matters as well and contrary to what critics may say this woman is the full package!
I hate that being yourself and being real are frowned upon in this world but in case the critics weren't watching, Tamar is winning!
I heard "If I don't have you" on the release date but chose to wait too pay all my homage, I needed to hear the song a million and one times just to say how amazing this song is as well!
That song inspires me to see the beauty in love and I appreciate the gift of hearing it! Hashtag she is so dope without even trying!
Music is about changing emotions, empowering and free movement. You can dance in the rain, cry your eyes out for your broken heart or thank God for the gift of sound! Whatever music has in it that forces our obsession with hearing it is profound!
Many artist don't get the respect and appreciation for the work they put in to help us when we lose faith, have a wack relationship, a terrible breakup or simply coming into our own!
I believe that some people have a gift to truly inspire you and for inspiration you should always pay homage!
